Welcome to the 29th edition of From V to You, a weekly letter of inspiration, tips, tricks, and behind-the-scenes of how I’m building a business around my personal brand so you can too. If you’ve missed the previous letters, you can always read them here. Special welcome and shoutout to my new Plexus family!

Lights, Camera, Action!

I’m writing you this letter as I sit on my couch, watching Brad Pitt win an Oscar, wondering how the freak do those actresses sit in their dresses and still manage to breathe while I’m over here in three layers of pajamas eating veggie fries. 😂

Why do I share these random little details with you?

Because if you ever wondered whether or not I write my emails ahead of time or not, here’s your answer – I don’t.

From the beginning of “From V to You,’ I wanted my weekly letters to be an honest, real-time, behind-the-scenes of what I’m up to as I build up my personal brand and business.

Which means I don’t batch my letters to you.

I write them as I go so I can share with you the things that have helped me break through and make progress ❤️

Too often, we look up at our idols once they’ve already “arrived” in their fame, influence, impact, and fortune, and it seems so daunting for those of us just starting out. BUT everyone starts at zero and I have no shame in my start and neither should you. So I share my journey in hopes it helps you in yours – even if I haven’t “arrived” yet.

In fact, every time I meet someone who seems more successful, accomplished, or famous than me…I’m blown away by how insecure, unsure, or uncomfortable they are in their achievements. It seems no one ever really “arrives” after all.

I just got home from the headquarters of Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi’s Mastermind office in Phoenix, Arizona, where I spent two days helping 30 ambitious and heart-centered entrepreneurs extract their wisdom and workshop their masterminds. I was in a room FULL of the greatest people with incredible stories, experiences, accomplishments, and insights that NEED to be shared with others and yet, so much self-doubt and negative talk.

There was this really powerful moment in the workshop where our head trainer Jed asked everyone to close their eyes and raise their hands if they were struggling with negative thoughts that day. Imposter syndrome thoughts. Not-good-enough thoughts. And almost everyone in the room raised their hands, including the trainers, coaches, writers, and table captains. Yes, even the people running the mastermind admitted to having the same self-doubts.

So don’t you dare for one second think that because you have those fears and doubts that it is a sign that you can’t or you shouldn’t. Bullshift.

Don’t doubt your influence.

Own your ambitions.

Achieve those aspirations.

Change someone’s life because you chose to share your knowledge with them.

Let’s change the world together!

With so much love,

Spread the love
