Wondering how to cultivate a team who feels empowered to share their opinions? Today I’m joined by Haley Burkhead as she shares her experience scaling her business and the relationship she has with her team members that allow them to take lead in their roles.
In this episode, Haley talks about what it was like being a people manager, the mistakes she has made along the way, and how she was able to grow her business to a place where she can automate her team and work minimal hours a week in her organization.
We discuss Haley’s opinion on recruiting outside of the organization versus developing and promoting talent from within, as well as her insight into how she approaches training and developing her team members. She shares how one of her employees went from waitressing to throwing her hat into the ring as a customer support assistant, to now running Haley’s entire company in an integral role as the Integrator.
